We have an exciting opportunity for Landscape Architects based in Sheffield to work with us full time! 

At Timberplay, we love being centered in the heart of Landscape Architecture - Sheffield.

About Us:

Specialist play company Timberplay have established themselves as a leader within the play sector since their inception in 2000. Timberplay have a deep knowledge of the fundamental requirements for play and child development, and understand how enriching landscapes not only enhances play value for children, but also helps to develop a strong sense of place and wellbeing for all members of society to enjoy. Taking a design-led approach to their work, Timberplay’s design team is formed of Landscape Architects and passionate play specialists. They work closely each day with external designers, Landscape Architects & other professionals to support them with their play projects, as well as delivering an in-house design and build service. Timberplay’s manufacture partner, Richter Spielgeräte is world renowned and has created some of the most iconic play spaces across the globe.

 

Overview:

Timberplay are offering the opportunity for a Landscape Architect to join their design team on a full-time basis, working from our Sheffield Head Office. In joining the Timberplay team you will be directly contributing to some of the best play spaces in the UK, Ireland, Middle East and India, working with a highly diverse client base.

 

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

- Competent and confident in AutoCAD, Photoshop & InDesign

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, including Excel

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work well as part of a team, and willing to work flexibly to meet deadlines

- Creative approaches to design and presentations

 

Desirable Skills:

- Hand drawing/sketching

- Ability to use 3D Modelling & Rendering Software, such as Lumion

- Experience in consultation workshops & stakeholder engagement

- Full UK Driving Licence Salary: Competitive, based on level of experience.
